Anar Singh Solanki Architect

My office is situated in the BSNL Housing Society over in Sector 50-C. Specifically, you can find me on the second floor at Flat No. 2549 in the Telehos section. It’s a residential area, so it feels very different from the commercial hubs, which I actually prefer for my architectural work. Working from here allows me to focus on the technical side of things without too many distractions. I spend a lot of hours sitting in front of my screen or sketching out ideas for new homes and renovations. Being an architect means I have to think about how people actually live in their spaces, so being in a housing society actually helps me keep that in mind. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit of a climb, but the view of the neighborhood is decent. I usually have a pot of tea going while I’m figuring out building codes or drawing up elevations. It’s just me here most of the time, though I do meet with clients and contractors to talk through the details of their projects. I don't go in for fancy presentations; I’d rather just show the actual plans and talk about what’s possible. It’s a quiet way to make a living, and I’ve been doing it this way for quite a few years now in Sec-50-C.
