You can find A.M Industries over in Phase-2 of the Industrial Area in Chandigarh. We’ve got unit 417A. It’s a loud place because we have machines running most of the day, but that’s just the sound of work being done. The floor is concrete and there’s always that smell of metal and oil in the air. Chandigarh is a nice place to work, even in the heat, though the industrial blocks can get pretty warm. We started small and just kept adding a machine here and there until we filled up the space. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we are a local bunch. We don’t have much time for sitting around. Usually, we are busy measuring things or checking the quality of what comes off the line. It’s not the kind of job you can do without getting your hands a bit greasy. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, but things get messy when we are in the middle of a big order. We don't use any fancy talk here. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves. The neighbors in Phase-2 are all doing similar work, so we help each other out with tools or advice sometimes. It’s a steady life and we appreciate the people who buy what we make. We just want to keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door.
