A.K. Jain Clinic

Our clinic is located on Gautam Budh Marg in Charbagh, right across from the Mohan Hotel and the SBI ATM. Being near the ATM is actually helpful because people always know where that is. Charbagh is a loud part of town, so there is usually the sound of horns and people talking coming in from the street. The clinic itself is fairly small. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. The paint is a light color to try and make it feel bigger, but it still gets crowded on Monday mornings. We have a small cupboard where we keep the basic supplies and a desk that’s been here since we opened. Sometimes the fan makes a little clicking noise, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know most of the people coming through the door. It’s a practical place, nothing like those big hospitals with the glass walls. We spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors who come in with various complaints. The Mohan Hotel across the way is a good landmark, and the street food stalls nearby usually smell pretty good around evening time. It’s just a regular clinic in a busy part of Charbagh, doing what we can every day. We try to keep things simple for everyone who visits.
