Acme India Constructions

Acme India Constructions operates out of a small space in Sector 16, Panchkula. We are at Sco 197 on the second floor, specifically in Cabin 13. We are quite close to the Old Labour Chowk, which is a busy intersection. The office is really more of a base for us. Most of the real action happens out on the construction sites across Chandigarh. In the cabin, we have a few chairs, a desk, and usually a bunch of rolled-up blueprints in the corner. It is a place where we do the accounts and talk to vendors. Construction is a messy business, so there is usually some dirt tracked in on the carpet. We have been doing this for a while now. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big corporate headquarters. It is just us and our tools. Sometimes the phone rings all day with people asking about their projects or delivery times for materials. We try to keep things moving along, but sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or a late shipment. That is just how the building trade works. We prefer being out in the field rather than sitting in the cabin, but the paperwork has to get done eventually. It is a practical life, and we are fine with that. We just try to build things that stay standing for a long time.
