Deepak Plastic

Deepak Plastic is located right in the middle of Main Bazar, specifically in Lala Ki Gali. If you know Ward-7, you probably know where we are. It’s a tight little street, typical for a bazar, always busy with people walking past and scooters trying to get through. We deal with plastic items. It’s a lot of inventory to keep track of in a small space, but we manage somehow. The shop isn’t very big, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves and even on the floor. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you’re looking for right away, but we usually know where everything is hidden in the back. Being in Main Bazar means there is always noise outside from the shoppers and vendors. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time now. People from around the neighborhood stop in for buckets, tubs, or whatever plastic bits they need for their houses. We don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign or hear about us from a friend. It gets pretty hot in the summer inside the shop, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. Lala Ki Gali is a good spot because everyone walks through it eventually. We try to keep things orderly, but with so much plastic stock, it's a constant battle to stay neat. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s just us here, making a living in Ward-7.
