Micraft

Micraft is based out of Sirsi in the Sambhal district. To find us, you just have to look for the water tank in Bilari, right at the Tiraha Sadak Sarai. It is a very specific location and if you are from around here, you probably know the spot already. We are not a large-scale factory with loud sirens or smoke. We are more of a traditional workshop. We spend our days working on different craft projects as they come in. It can get very hot in the summer months, but we just keep the ceiling fans spinning and keep our heads down. We do not have a big budget for marketing or a fancy office for meetings. Most of the tools we use have some age on them, but they still work for the kind of work we do. We have been doing this for a long time and we don't have any plans to change how we operate. People from the local villages know who we are and they often stop by just to see what we are making or to have a quick chat. We don't mind the interruptions at all. We aren't the kind of place where you need to book an appointment weeks in advance. You can just walk in and see us working. The road at Tiraha Sadak Sarai is always full of noise, but our shop feels like its own quiet corner. We just focus on the materials and making sure things are done right.
