Our office is located in Mahmudpur, which is part of Mughalsarai in the Chandauli district. We are set up at Hijabe Rizwa Siddiqui’s place. It is a quiet spot, away from the main rush of the railway station. We started DEVISHKA AND RUDRA NIDHI LIMITED to help out the folks living around here. In a place like Mahmudpur, people prefer dealing with someone they know personally. We aren’t big on corporate talk or fancy presentations. We just have a few desks and some cupboards full of old registers. Dealing with savings and loans for the community is what we do every day. Sometimes the rains make the roads a bit muddy, or the heat makes the office feel a bit small, but we stay open for our members regardless. People come to us when they have a bit of extra cash they want to put aside or when they need a little help to get through the month. We know most of the families in the 232101 area, so there is a lot of trust involved. We don’t spend any money on big signs or television ads. Word of mouth is enough for us to keep going. It is a simple way of life, and we are happy to be a small part of how people manage their lives here. We just try to be helpful and keep our books in order so everyone is satisfied at the end of the day.
