Makhan Chatterjee Lane is where we have been for quite some time now. We handle clothes and general fashion stuff here in Chandannagar. My family has lived around here for generations, so setting up the shop in this part of town just felt right. We are not a massive mall or anything like that, just a regular place where we get the work done. Some days are slow, while other days we can barely keep up with the orders coming in. We spend most of our time sorting through different fabrics and making sure things are packed correctly for the people who buy from us. We try to keep things organized inside the building. If you ever walk down toward the river, you have probably passed our door. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Most of the staff here live nearby, so it feels like a neighborhood thing more than a big company. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs every day.
