Sitala Sweets

Sitala Sweets is over in Narua. It’s a small shop where we make the usual kinds of sweets people like. We start pretty early in the morning when the milk arrives. The kitchen stays hot most of the day because of the big pots. We don't have any branches or anything, just this one spot in Narua. The locals come by in the evening mostly, when things have cooled down a bit. We keep the display cases filled, though by the end of the day, things usually run low. It’s not a big fancy place with air conditioning. It’s just a regular sweet shop with a few benches. We’ve been making the same stuff for a long time now. Some days are busier than others, especially during local festivals when everyone wants something. We try to keep the floors clean, but with all the sugar and flour, it’s a constant battle. The staff is just a few of us who live nearby. We don’t have a website or a menu you can look at online. You just come in and see what we’ve made for the day. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We know most of our customers by name. It’s just how things are done here in Narua. Nothing more to it than that. We just keep our pans going and hope people enjoy what we've made that day without needing all the extra fancy packaging or noise.
