S D Trading

We’ve been here at No. 1 Khan Road for a while now. Mankundu is where we handle all the day-to-day work for S D Trading. It’s a busy spot. Most mornings start early with loading and checking what’s come in. People around here know the building. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. We just have our desks and the storage space where everything happens. Some days are quieter than others, but there’s usually something to move or someone to talk to about an order. We deal with various goods and keep track of things in our ledgers. It’s mostly local stuff. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get things moved on time, especially when it rains hard on Khan Road, but we manage. We aren’t a big corporation. It’s just us doing the work we’ve been doing for years. You’ll see us there if you walk by. The door is usually open unless it’s really dusty outside. We handle the paperwork ourselves. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the stacks of receipts and lists, but we know where everything is. That’s just how we run things here in Mankundu. We don't have a big team, just enough people to get the trading done and keep the accounts straight. It's a steady job and we like being part of the neighborhood. Nothing too complicated about it, just trading and moving items from one place to another every day. We keep the kettle going for tea.
