Our shop is located at 36, Anusila Sadan, right in the Barabazer area of Chandannagore. If you know the Hooghly district, you know it’s got a lot of history. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite some time. It’s an old place, but it serves our purposes for the engineering work we do. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us at a desk or out back checking on some equipment. We handle various engineering tasks, mostly stuff that requires a bit of practical problem-solving. The streets around here are narrow and always full of people and rickshaws, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve lived and worked in this community for years, so we know most of the people who walk by our doors. It’s a humble setup. We use some older tools alongside a few newer ones we’ve picked up over the years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on getting the jobs finished. We don’t really do big presentations or anything corporate. If someone needs something fixed or built, they just come by and talk to us. It’s how business has always been done in this part of Bengal. We keep at it every day and try to stay busy.
