Lokenath Caterer

Lokenath Caterer is located at Fatakgora, right on the Chandan Nagar Station Road. It’s a very busy part of town, which is good for us. We’ve been here for a good while, serving the people of Chandan Nagar. The shop isn't much to look at, just a place where we take orders and store some of our big utensils. Most of the action happens in our kitchen area. We cook a lot of traditional Bengali food for weddings and rice ceremonies. It’s a lot of sweating over big fires and making sure the spices are just right. We don't have any fancy degrees in cooking; we just learned by doing it for years. Station Road can be quite noisy with all the rickshaws and people, but we’re used to it. We start our days early to get the fresh catch from the market. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours on our feet. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just me, my family, and a few regular workers who have been with us for years. We just try to do our job and make sure the food gets to the venue on time. People in Fatakgora know us, and we like it that way. We don't need a lot of fuss, just a steady stream of work to keep us busy. Sometimes we get exhausted, but when the party is finished and everything went okay, it feels fine. That's our life here.
