You’ll find us sitting right on Barasat GT Road in Chandernagore. The address is number 251, and we go by Genex Management It College. This is in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. Being on the GT Road means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by, but it also means everyone knows where we are. We aren't a massive university campus with huge fields. We are a smaller college focused on management and IT, and we operate out of this building here. The classrooms are simple, with basic benches and boards. It’s the kind of place where you come to learn, not to look at fancy architecture. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many students come through our doors. We don’t have a fancy marketing department to write polished brochures for us. We just keep the lights on and make sure the computers are working for the classes. Chandernagore is a nice town with a lot of history, but out here on the main road, it’s mostly about the daily grind. We like the atmosphere because it feels real. People here are hard-working and we try to match that energy. It’s not always perfect—sometimes the power goes out or it gets too hot—but we just keep going anyway. It’s a straightforward place for people who want to get their education. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in West Bengal, just a useful one for the community.
