Sri Bagavathiamman Granites

We are based in Chamarajanagar, right at No. 19 Mig 2 in the KHB Colony. It is a bit of a quieter area compared to the big city industrial zones, but we stay busy. We have been working with granites for quite some time now. The yard has different types of stone stacked up. Some are dark and some have more color. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are building houses nearby. It’s a lot of physical work. The stone is cold in the morning and gets hot by the afternoon. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just us and the granite. You might see some dust on the floor or a few stray dogs sleeping near the gate. That's just how it is here. We try to keep things organized so we know which slab belongs to which pile. Chamarajanagar is a nice place to work. It’s got a different pace. We know a lot of the people around the colony. When a truck comes to pick up a load, everyone has to help out. It takes a few people to guide the crane and make sure nothing chips. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple life and we like the stone business well enough to keep at it every day. We just focus on the slabs and getting them loaded for whoever needs them.
