We’ve been in India a long time, but this specific spot is where we handle things for this region. The air is cleaner up here, though the winters can get pretty cold and we have to bundle up. We aren't some big corporate machine; we’re just the folks who run the house and take care of what needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow because we are in the hills, but we manage. People stop by and we just talk like neighbors. It’s not about being the best or anything like that, we just want to make sure the place is open and ready. We spend our days checking on things and making sure the paperwork is sorted. It’s a steady pace of life. We like being in Uttarakhand. It feels right to be part of the community here. We don't do much marketing or anything fancy. Just a simple house with people working inside, doing the best we can with what we have. It is just a plain, honest way of living and working in the mountains.
