We are a farmer producer company, which means we spend most of our time dealing with actual farmers and their crops. It’s not a polished business with a lot of fancy furniture. Our office is simple and sometimes a bit cold in the winter months. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of writers to make us sound important. We just write down what we buy and what we sell. Most of us have lived in Champawat our whole lives. We understand how things work here and we don’t try to change it too much. We just want to make sure the farmers have a way to get their stuff to market. It’s a lot of physical work and simple record keeping. We don't use big words or make grand plans. We just look at what’s in the fields and go from there. If you visit us, expect a simple welcome and a lot of talk about the weather and the harvest. Life moves a bit slower up here and we are fine with that. We just do our part.
