Venkateshwara Brick Industry

We run Venkateshwara Brick Industry out of an office in Srivani Apts, specifically Flat No 202. It's located in Vishnupuri Colony, which is a fairly quiet residential area for the most part. Having the office in an apartment building like this means we see the same neighbors every day while we're handling the paperwork side of the brick business. The address is 17 1 382/K/2, which sounds a bit long when you have to write it down on forms. Down at the sites where the actual bricks are made, things are a lot dirtier and noisier, but here in the colony, it’s mostly just us at our desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at delivery schedules. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or big signs; it’s just a regular flat where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the week’s plan. Sometimes the parking in the colony gets a bit tight if there are visitors, but we make it work. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and the bricks we deal with go into buildings all over the region. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the kilns. We keep things simple and don't worry much about having a polished image. As long as the orders are right and the trucks are on time, we're happy. The flat gets a lot of afternoon sun, so we keep the fans going most of the time to stay comfortable while we work.
