We have been operating out of the Industrial Area on Korba Road for quite a while now. This part of Janjgir is mostly factories and warehouses, so it gets pretty loud with the trucks and machinery going all day long. We make ceramics here. Most of what we do is for industrial use, so it is not the kind of pretty stuff you would put on a shelf at home. The factory floor is usually hot because of the kilns, and there is always a layer of dust on everything no matter how much we sweep. It is just the nature of the work we do. We do not have a fancy front office with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you will have to find one of us on the floor or in the small side room where we keep the records. We focus on getting the orders finished and loaded onto the trucks. Sometimes the weather in Janjgir messes with our schedule, especially when the heavy rains make the roads around the industrial area difficult to navigate. But we just deal with it as it comes. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We know the machines and we know how the clay behaves. It is not a glamorous business, and we do not try to make it sound like one. We just show up, do the work, and go home. People around here know we are reliable enough for what they need.
