Wills Rural Micro Benefit Foundation

Our group is based out in Uchauliya, which is a small village in the Lakhimpur Kheri district. If you know the Mohmmadi tehsil area, you know it is mostly fields and quiet roads around here. We are not in a big city with tall buildings. Our office is just a simple place where we gather to talk about how things are going in the local area. Being in a rural spot means we see the same faces every day. Wills Rural Micro Benefit Foundation is not some huge corporation. We are just local people who live and work right here in the village. Most of our time is spent talking to neighbors and trying to handle the small tasks that come up. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, and the roads can be a bit rough during the rains. We do not mind it much because this is home. We do not use fancy words or have big meetings in boardrooms. Usually, it is just a few of us sitting around a table with some papers. We wanted to have something local that understands what it is like to live in Kheri. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet is slow, but we keep going. It is honest work. We do not try to be anything we are not. If you come by the post office in Uchauliya, we are just a stone’s throw away. It is a basic setup, but it works for us.
