Leighton India

Leighton India operates out of House Number 02 in the Zila Panchayat Campus. This is located in Chamoli, Uttranchal, specifically at the Zila Panchayat Bhawan. Mr. B.S. Negi is the person whose house we are based in. The setup is quite humble because we don't need a lot of space to get our work done. Being in a district like Chamoli means we are far away from the big metropolitan offices. Our days are mostly quiet, filled with the usual administrative tasks that keep things running. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website team. It’s just us sitting in a room with our ledger books and papers. The weather can be quite unpredictable in the hills, so we often have to deal with rain or cold. We don't use any complicated systems to manage our time. We just show up and see what needs to be handled first. The campus has a lot of movement from the local government offices, so there is always someone passing by the window. We’ve become a part of the local scene over the years. It is a very honest way to work, without any of the corporate polish you see in the cities. We prefer to keep things simple and just focus on the job at hand. It’s a practical environment for a small, hardworking group like ours.
