Vamshi Industrial Power Ltd. (Lanco)

We are located in Village Okal, near the Dalhousie Cantt area in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. It is a very scenic part of the country, but the work we do is quite industrial, focusing on power for the Lanco group. The office is a bit out of the way compared to cities, but it puts us right where we need to be for our project locations. Working in a village means things are a little slower-paced than in a big city office, but we still stay very busy with our daily tasks. The building is just a simple, sturdy structure that fits in with the other houses in the village. We have a few rooms set up with desks and the equipment we need to keep track of the power operations. It gets quite cold during the winter months, so we usually have the heaters going and someone is always making tea to keep us warm. Most of the people here are from the local area or moved here to work on this specific project. It’s a small, tight-knit group of people. We don't get many random visitors because of how remote we are, but we are always occupied with maintenance and operational work. There isn't any big corporate signage or fancy lobbies around here. It is just a place for our engineers and technicians to do their jobs. The air is fresh and the environment is quiet, which suits us just fine.
