We’ve been operating out of Chamba for years now. Mahajan Auto Spares is just a local shop where we keep a bit of everything that someone might need for their vehicle. Being in a place like Chamba means you have to have the right parts on hand because it’s a long way to any other big town. We supply auto spares but also a lot of general items that people in the area need for their daily work. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with boxes stacked up to the ceiling, but we know exactly where that one specific bolt or gasket is hidden. We don't have a fancy storefront. It’s just a practical space where we can work and help out our customers. We’ve known most of the people who come in here for years. We usually have a chat about the weather or the local news while we’re looking up a part number. It’s a steady kind of life. We open early and stay open until the work is done. Some days we get big shipments in and it takes us all day just to get everything sorted on the shelves. We aren't looking to grow into a giant chain. We just like being the place in Chamba where people can find what they need.
