This place is run by Rakesh Kumar Sharma, who took over things after his father, Shri Gian Dutt Sharma. We are tucked away in Village Millha, which is part of the Singi post office area in Chamba. It’s a quiet part of Himachal Pradesh, way up in the 176310 area. Being a power company out here in the Tehsil and District Chamba means we spend a lot of time outdoors, dealing with the local geography. Our office is basically a local spot where neighbors stop by and we handle the business of the day. It’s not a big city operation with glass buildings and elevators. We use old desks and the floor gets a bit dusty from the mountain roads. Everyone around here knows the family name, so there is a lot of history in how we operate. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or big signs. Most people just know us as the folks working on the local power projects. We have a small crew and we all grew up around these hills, so we understand how things work when the rains come or the winter sets in. It’s just us doing what needs to be done to keep the project going. We don’t really have a marketing team or anything like that, just some local guys making sure the work gets finished. It's a simple life and we like it that way in the village.
