We have been here at Q.No. B 9 in the N.H.P.C. Colony for a while now. Most people know the Chamera II area around Karian, and that’s exactly where our office is set up. Chamba is a quiet place mostly, and we fit right in with the local pace. It is a bit of a climb to get out here sometimes, especially when the weather in Himachal gets tricky, but we manage. We handle the daily tasks that come with being part of a big name like Jaiprakesh Associates Ltd. There is always something to do, whether it’s paperwork or checking on projects nearby. Our team consists of just a few regulars who have lived in the district for years. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a standard colony quarters setup. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We are tucked away near the dam project, so it stays busy with workers and trucks passing by the gate. People stop in when they need to ask about site work or if they have some documents to drop off for the project leads. It is not a flashy life, but it keeps us busy. We try to keep things organized even when the desk gets a bit cluttered with blueprints and site logs. When it rains, the sound on the roof is so loud we can hardly hear the phone. That's just how things go here in Distt Chamba.
