Aafaaq Foundation

We’re located in Village Tribhol, which is way up in the Salooni area of Chamba. It’s a bit of a journey to get here, but it’s a beautiful part of Himachal Pradesh. Our foundation runs out of a small place belonging to Mohd. Yaqub. We are just local folks trying to do some good for the people living in these remote hills. Life up here isn't always easy, and sometimes the basic things take a lot of effort to get sorted. We don't have a big staff or a fancy office setup. It's mostly just a few of us sitting around a wooden table, trying to figure out how to help out. We know everyone in the village, and they know us. We don't use big words or talk about "strategic plans." We just see if someone needs help with their paperwork or if there’s a local project that needs a bit of extra hands. Sometimes we spend the whole day just listening to people’s problems. It might not seem like much, but in a place like Tribhol, it matters. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we don’t plan on stopping. We aren't looking for any awards or recognition. We just want to make sure our neighbors are doing okay. It’s simple, honest work, and that is all we ever wanted it to be for our community.
