Shris Vig Export Private Limited sits right in Terakanambi Hundi. We are based out of Gundlupet, at No. 226, which is a place where everybody knows everyone else. It’s a bit far out from the big cities, but that suits us just fine. We spend most of our time dealing with exports. It’s a lot of physical work and making sure the trucks are loaded right before they head out. The local area is quiet, mostly farmland around, so it’s a different vibe than working in a tall building in a city. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been operating from Terakanambi for a while now. It started small and it’s stayed pretty manageable. We focus on getting the goods ready for wherever they are headed. There’s a rhythm to the day here. We start early when it’s still cool outside. By the time the sun is high, we’re usually deep into the paperwork or checking the inventory. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. We don’t see many strangers around here, so when we do, it’s usually someone lost or someone coming for a pickup. We like the way things are set up at our No. 226 spot. It’s home for the business and it’s where we plan to stay for the long haul.
