You can find us at Number 10 in Kasthuru, which is over in Chamrajnagar. We are a farmer producer company, which basically means a bunch of us got together to make things easier for everyone. The name Sangama feels right because it’s about a gathering or a union of people. We deal with organic stuff, but we don't treat it like some luxury item. To us, it’s just the way food should be grown without all the extra chemicals. Being in Chamrajnagar, we are surrounded by people who have been farming for generations. Our office is a simple place where we meet to discuss prices, seeds, and who is growing what this season. It's not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we try our best. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just talk to each other and the people who buy from us. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we’d rather be out in the fields than sitting behind a desk. We are just trying to make sure the farmers get a fair deal and the soil stays good for the next generation. It’s a lot of manual work and late nights during the harvest, but that is just how it goes. We are just local people working for other local people.
