Our place is right next to the Gyarahalli Thammayya World Academy, at 325 on Adlimane Road. It’s a long name for a company, we know. Most people just know us from the neighborhood in Lakshmipuram Extension. We do building and developing, which mostly means we spend our time talking to engineers and trying to find good wood and stone. It’s a busy office. There is always someone coming in to ask about a plot or a wall being built. We try to keep things simple here. We aren't some big firm from the city center; we are just here on the ground. The road gets a bit crowded when the school lets out, but otherwise, it's a good spot to work from. We've got files everywhere. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the right drawing because the filing system isn't perfect. We get the work done though. Being developers means we have to think ahead, which isn't always easy when things change so fast. We deal with the promoters' side of things too, so there’s a lot of talking. My hands usually have some dust on them from visiting sites earlier in the day. We just want to build houses that people can actually live in without issues. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we've been doing it for a while now. We just keep our heads down and work through the list of things to do.
