Sri Ramdev Granites

We have been operating out of Vittal Nagara on the Chitradurga Road for some time. Our number is 274, so we aren't hard to spot if you're looking for granite. The road stays busy with trucks heading out of town, and we’re right there in the middle of it. The yard is filled with various types of granite, and we spend most of our mornings organizing everything. It’s physical work, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. The sun can be tough out here on Chitradurga Road, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade of the slabs when we can. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just us and the stone. People from around Vittal Nagara often stop by just to see what’s new or to ask about prices for a small project. We try to keep things organized, but with so much stone coming and going, it can look a bit cluttered. That’s just the nature of the business. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just sell stone to people who need it. It’s a steady job, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the regulars who work in the construction trade around here. It's just a normal day at the yard for us, moving heavy things around and hoping for a bit of a breeze in the afternoon.
