Nav Bharat Traders

Nav Bharat Traders is tucked away in Birur Village, right near the post office. We are located at Plot No.34, which is easy enough to find if you know the Kadur Taluka area. Being in Chikmagalur District, we see a lot of the changing seasons, especially when the rains start hitting the roof of the warehouse. It gets quite loud inside then. The village life moves at its own pace, and we mostly follow that. We spend our days dealing with whatever stock comes in from the local area. There’s a lot of lifting and shifting bags around. The floor is just plain stone, and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We keep a small office in the corner with an old desk where the ledgers sit. Most of the time, the door is left open to catch a breeze, though sometimes a stray dog or two tries to wander in. We don’t bother with fancy signs or advertisements. People in Birur know where we are and what we do. It’s a lot of practical talk about prices and quantities over a cup of coffee. The afternoon sun hits the front of the plot pretty hard, so we usually shift the work to the shaded parts of the building. It isn't a glamorous setup, just a reliable spot in the village where the work gets done day after day without much fuss.
