Akash Electronics

You can find us near Nehru Circle on the Bengaluru Road. Being in the Chitradurga district, we get people coming in from the nearby villages and the town itself. Akash Electronics has been around for a good bit. We mostly handle repairs for TVs, radios, and whatever else people bring in. The shop is small and full of old parts and half-finished projects. We don't have a big storefront with glowing lights. It’s just a normal shop with a counter and some tools. The traffic around Nehru Circle is always a bit chaotic, but it makes the day go by fast. We usually have the radio on while we work. My father started this, and I just kept it going. We don’t do much talking unless someone asks a question about their device. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at small circuits. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We know the other shop owners on Bengaluru Road pretty well. We share snacks and talk about the weather. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We aren't trying to sell the newest fancy gadgets, just fixing what people already have. It’s more about making things last. If you’re near the circle, just look for the electronics sign. We’re usually there from morning until late evening.
