We are based out of Sitamai Nagar in the Jalgaon district. It’s a quiet enough area but our yard is usually full of activity. We have piles of gravel, some old pipes, and the yellow machinery parked out back when it’s not out at a site. Most of our days are spent out on the roads or at building spots around the district. The office is just a simple room where we keep the maps and the permits. There is usually a layer of dust on everything because that is just the nature of construction work in this part of the country. We know most of the local suppliers by their first names and we have been working with the same group of laborers for years. It is not an easy job, especially when the sun is beating down in the middle of summer, but we keep at it. Sometimes the trucks get stuck or the supplies are late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don't have a big marketing department or glossy brochures to show people. Usually, people hear about us from their neighbors or other contractors in town. We focus on the concrete and the bricks and making sure the foundations are solid. It’s just how we have always done things here in Jalgaon. Every project feels a bit different but the hard work stays the same.
