Zalte Agro Farm Ltd.

Our business, Zalte Agro Farm Ltd., operates out of Shop No. 11 and 12 in the Bajaj Complex. We are right by Chalisgaon Chowk, which is a very busy part of town. There is always the sound of horns and people talking right outside our door. Having two shops gives us a bit more room to store things, but it still feels small when we have a lot of customers coming in. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just shelves with farm supplies and a couple of desks where we do the accounts. The Bajaj Complex is an older building, and the tiles on the floor are a bit chipped here and there. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers who come in from the surrounding areas. They usually have a lot of questions, and we do our best to help them out based on what we have in stock. It’s a very social job in a way, as we hear all the local gossip and news from the chowk. We close the shutters at the end of the day and head home, just like everyone else. There is nothing corporate about us. We just run our shops and try to keep things organized. If the power goes out, we just sit by the door where there’s more light and keep working until the sun goes down.
