Our place is Mashoor Engineering Consultancy Muscat, located here in Kerala, India, 680721. Even though the name says Muscat, we do our day-to-day work from right here. It’s a consulting business so it’s a lot of looking at plans, checking numbers, and talking to people about their projects. We don’t have a massive building with a lobby. It’s more of a functional office where we can focus on the technical details. Most of the guys here are into the engineering side of things, so we don’t talk much about anything else. The office can be a bit quiet when everyone is buried in their drawings. We use simple desks and old chairs that are comfortable enough for a long day. Kerala is a beautiful place to work from and being in the 680721 area works well for us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy brochures or anything. We just sit down, look at what needs to be done, and give our advice based on what we know. Sometimes we have to go out to sites which is a nice break from being at the desk. It’s a straightforward engineering shop. No big corporate layers, just us working on projects and helping people get their stuff built correctly. We take our time with the calculations because that's what matters most in this line of work. It’s a quiet but steady way of doing things.
