If you’re driving down the Pune Nasik Highway, you’ll pass right by us at Gate No. 624/7 near Aalandi Phata. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of heavy trucks and cars zooming past all day. Tata International Dit Private Limited is situated right where all that action is. Being near the highway means there’s always a layer of dust on everything, and you can hear the horns honking from morning till night. Our facility is pretty large because we need the space for all the movement that happens here. It’s not an office where you sit in a cubicle all day. Most of us are out on the floor or near the loading docks seeing what’s coming in and what’s going out. The sun can be really strong out here, especially in the afternoons, so we all try to stay in the shade when we can. We have a small room for tea and water where everyone gathers for a break. It’s a very functional place. There are no paintings on the walls or expensive furniture. We use heavy-duty tables and chairs that can handle a bit of wear and tear. Dealing with the highway traffic can be a mess sometimes, especially when there’s a backup at the Phata, but it’s part of the location. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily logistics without much fuss.
