Swarali Super Market

We started Swarali Super Market a while back here in Chakan Kothrud. Most people around here know where we are located. It’s just a regular shop where you can get your daily things like flour, rice, and soaps. Some days it gets busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is out for milk and bread. We try to keep things on the shelves so nobody has to go too far to find what they need for their kitchen. The place isn't very fancy but it works for the neighborhood. Sometimes the crates are piled up a bit high near the door because the delivery truck just came. My nephew helps out behind the counter most afternoons when I have to go to the bank. We know a lot of the faces that come through the door by now. If you live nearby, you’ve probably seen us while walking to the bus stop. We keep the lights on until late so people coming home from work can grab a few things for dinner. Dealing with change is always a bit of a hassle when the coin jar is empty, but we manage. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic coming in from the street outside. We just keep doing what we do every day. There isn’t much to it besides making sure the sugar bags are tied right and the fridge is cold enough for the curd. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town.
