Shree Dattakrupa Super Market

We opened up here in Chakan Daulat Nagar a while back. It’s a busy area and things get moving pretty early around here. Usually, I’m at the shop by seven to see what the milk delivery guy left. Shree Dattakrupa Super Market is basically where we spend our whole day, from morning till late night when we pull the shutter down. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep the stuff people actually need, like grains and soap and snacks for the kids coming home from school. Sometimes the crates are piled up in the way because the delivery truck came at the wrong time, but everyone around here knows how it is. We know most of the people who walk in by their first names or at least what they usually buy. If someone is short a few rupees, we just catch them next time. It’s just how things work in this part of town. The shelves are a bit crowded because we keep adding new things whenever someone asks for something we don't have. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the fan behind the counter helps a bit. We don't have fancy uniforms or anything like that, just me and my cousin usually. We just keep the place running and try to make sure there’s enough stock so nobody has to walk to the next market over.
