Sayali Enterprises

Our place is on the second floor in Chakan, right above where things get busy. Being near Prakash Sweets is a bit of a problem because it always smells like sugar and fried snacks, which makes us hungry all day. We are also right across from the ST Stand, so there is a lot of noise from the buses coming and going. Sayali Enterprises is basically just a few rooms where we handle our daily business. It’s not a very quiet spot, but you get used to the sounds of the horns and the people shouting for their bus. We have a lot of stairs to climb every morning to get to the office. It keeps us fit, I guess. The office itself is full of files and some old furniture that we’ve had since we started. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a clock that is a few minutes fast. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working on the computer. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open even with all the dust. We know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. It feels like a little community even though everyone is just trying to get their work done. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time now and don't plan on moving.
