Sai Super Market

Sai Super Market is located right on K D Road in Chakan. It’s a pretty busy part of town with a lot of trucks passing through all day long. Our shop has a little bit of everything, from laundry soap to snacks that the kids like. I try my best to keep the shelves full, but sometimes items sell out a lot faster than I can replace them. The lighting inside isn't the most modern, but it’s bright enough to find the bags of rice. I’ve lived around Chakan for most of my life, so I recognize a lot of the people who come through the door. We aren't a big corporate chain store. It’s just me and a couple of guys who help out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We have a small fridge for cold drinks, which gets very popular when the afternoon sun is out. The front door has a bit of a squeak when you open it, but I haven't quite found the time to fix it yet. Most people don't seem to mind. We just focus on having the everyday things people need. If someone needs a big order for a family event, they usually let me know a few days early so I can set it aside. It’s a lot of hours, but we’re just a local shop trying to be useful to the folks living around here. No big frills, just groceries and general stuff for the house.
