You can find Sai Clinic over in the Chakan area of Pune. It’s an industrial part of the world, so there is always a lot of movement and heavy trucks rumbling by on the main roads. Our clinic sits amidst all that hustle. It’s a practical little place, meant for the people who live and work around here. The air is often thick with dust from the construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and the chairs. We don't have any flashy signs or bright lights to draw people in. Most folks know we’re here because they’ve lived in Chakan for years. The inside of the clinic is pretty basic, just a few exam rooms and a small area where you can sit and wait your turn. The chairs are plastic and not the most comfortable, but they do the job. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork gets a bit ahead of us. It’s just a small team of us working here. We see a lot of workers from the local factories and families from the nearby housing blocks. Life in Chakan is busy and fast, but inside the clinic, we try to take things one person at a time. We don't use any fancy language or make big claims. We’re just a local clinic doing what we can for the neighborhood. It’s honest work and we like being part of the community, even if it’s loud outside.
