S R Technical Institute

S R Technical Institute is situated out in Chakan, in the Kharat Wadi area. We are on the Talegaun Chakan Road, which anyone who lives around here knows is one of the busiest roads for industrial traffic. You see huge trucks going past all day long. Our main landmark is Mauli Hospital, which is right nearby. It’s a good reference point for people trying to find us for the first time. The institute is focused on technical training, so the vibe inside is very practical. We have some equipment and computers where the students spend most of their time. Chakan is very much an industrial hub, so everything around us feels like it’s about work and getting things done. It’s not the most scenic part of the region, but it’s where all the action is for technical jobs. We usually open up pretty early because a lot of our students come in before their shifts start or after they finish. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, and the noise from the traffic is constant. We have a small staff and we mostly just handle things ourselves, from the teaching to the cleaning. We don’t have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. People mostly come to us because they need to learn a specific skill for the factories nearby. It’s honest work and we enjoy the daily routine of it, even with the noise.
