You will find Nyanraj Super Market right at the Chakan Incometax Cross Road, which is usually a very busy spot with all the traffic passing by. Since we are on a main corner, we get all sorts of people stopping in, not just the locals who live right here. We have to keep a good variety of items because you never know what someone might be looking for when they hop off a bus or park their bike. The noise from the road is always there, but you get used to it after a while. We spend our days checking the expiry dates and making sure the packets are lined up right. It is a lot of work keeping a supermarket running smoothly, especially when the big orders come in and we have to find space for all the boxes. My staff and I are usually running around trying to help someone find a specific brand of oil or just cleaning the counters. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just open the shop, make sure the lights are on, and wait for the customers to come in. The Chakan area is growing fast, and we see new faces almost every week now. It is good to be right here where all the action is. We just try to keep the staples in stock and make sure the billing machine doesn't act up when it gets busy. It’s a long day, but seeing the store full makes it worth it every time.
