Mechetel Engineering Consultancy is located at number 330 on S C Road, specifically in the Ambethan 2nd Block. It is a straightforward engineering office where we spend our time looking over blueprints and figuring out technical specifications. The office itself is quite old-fashioned. We have large tables for spreading out drawings and shelves filled with thick reference books that we still use all the time. S C Road is a busy stretch, so there is always the sound of traffic in the background, which we have grown used to over the years. We aren't a big firm with layers of management. If you call us, you are going to talk to one of the engineers who is actually doing the work. It is a very direct way of doing things. We don't spend time making fancy brochures or sales pitches. Most of our day is taken up by calculations or visiting sites to see how projects are coming along. The 2nd block of Ambethan is a good neighborhood with plenty of small shops nearby where we grab our snacks. Our workspace is definitely not a showroom. It is a bit messy with rolls of paper and coffee stains on the desks, but it shows that we are actually getting things done. We just like the challenge of solving an engineering puzzle and keeping the business running smoothly from our little spot on S C Road.
