We are located out in Chakan, which everyone knows is a busy hub for all sorts of manufacturing. Our specific spot is Plot No. 4, Gat No. 627/2 in Kuruli. If you have ever driven through this part of Pune, you know how busy the roads get with all the heavy trucks and containers moving in and out all day long. Praxair India has been here for a while, just being a small part of the industrial landscape. The facility is practical and built for work. We don't have marble floors or air-conditioned hallways everywhere. It is a place where real work happens. We deal with industrial gases and the equipment that goes with them. It is serious work, but we are just regular people doing it. The weather in Chakan can be dusty, and the commute is long for some of us, but we show up every day anyway. We don't really do the whole corporate talk thing here. If a job needs doing, we find a way to finish it. You might see some of us grabbing lunch at the local stalls nearby during the break. We have got a mix of experienced hands who have seen it all and some younger folks still learning the ropes. It is a functional site, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the equipment maintained and the schedules as tight as we can. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do.
