Durvankur Hospital

Durvankur Hospital is tucked away in Chakan, right behind the Om Sai Apartment building. It’s not on the main highway, so it’s a little quieter, which we actually like. Most of our patients are people who live in the apartments nearby or work in the local Chakan industries. The building is a basic structure and we’ve been here for several years now. We have a small yard in the front where people sometimes park their bikes. Inside, it’s just a standard hospital layout. No fancy artwork or expensive furniture, just the things we need to take care of patients. We usually start the day by cleaning the floors and checking the supplies. The staff is mostly local, so we don't have far to travel. We see a lot of industrial workers because of all the factories in the Chakan area. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area, especially in the evenings when people are off work. We just do our best to see everyone in a timely manner. We don't have a big corporate board or anyone telling us what to do. It’s just a local hospital run by people who live right here. We like the quiet location behind the apartments because it feels a bit more like a neighborhood place than a big institution. It’s just our daily life here in Chakan.
