Out here in Solu Village, things move a bit differently than they do in the city. Corn Meadow is situated in the Khed area, surrounded by more open space. We spend our days dealing with what the land gives us. It’s a rural setting, so we don't have paved parking lots or neon signs. It’s just the village life. We work with corn and whatever else is in season. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though the roads can be a bit rough depending on the weather. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know all the families around Solu. It’s not a corporate office; it’s more of a working site. We wake up early, usually when the sun is just coming up, to get a start on things. There isn't a lot of "marketing" going on here. We just produce what we produce and people know where to find us if they need something. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times it’s a beehive of activity during harvest. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you usually just have to come down to Khed and find the meadow. It's a simple, honest way to make a living. We value the rain and the soil because that’s what our business is built on. It takes a lot of patience to work with nature, and we've learned that over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
