We’ve been here at Argade Hospital And Maternity Home for quite some time now. Our place is right on the Pune Nasik Highway in Chakan, so it gets pretty busy with all the traffic passing by throughout the day. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. It’s a straightforward setup. We handle a lot of maternity cases because that’s what people in Chakan usually come to us for. The building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we do our work. Most mornings start early with people waiting outside before we even open the doors. You can hear the trucks rumbling on the highway while we’re inside checking on patients. It’s a local place through and through. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood, which is nice. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the road noise, but we’re used to it by now. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the shortcuts to get to work. It’s not like those big corporate hospitals in the city. It’s just a regular clinic where families come when they have a baby on the way or if someone is feeling under the weather. We keep things simple. There’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of tea drinking in the break room. We just try to get through the day and help the people who walk through the door. That’s pretty much how things go here in Chakan.
