Over in Chadchan, in the Bizapur District, you can find Darshnik Jeweller. Our location is specifically in the Talukaindi area. This shop has been a part of this community for a long time. It is a modest place. Bright spotlights like the ones in city malls aren't found here. Instead, we have our display cases and a workbench in the back for repairs. Locals know us by name and stop in when they need something or just want to look. This is a family-run business. My uncle used to sit in the same chair I use now. Rushing isn't necessary, so we take our time with our work. Dust from the road often gets in, which means we spend a lot of time cleaning the glass. Market days make Chadchan a busy little place, and more people visit then. During the rest of the week, things are pretty calm. We listen to the radio and talk to whoever happens to stop by. Big sales pitches aren't our style. If someone likes a piece, they buy it. Fairness and keeping the doors open are our main concerns. This has been our life for years, and we don't plan on changing much. The Bizapur District is home, and being a small part of it makes us happy. The smell of the market is something you get used to after a while.
