Zindagi Food Foundation

Zindagi Food Foundation is based over in Vikash Puri, specifically at F-463 on the ground floor. It’s the place of Swadesh Bala, the wife of Sh Suman Kumar. Being on the ground floor in New Delhi 110018 makes things easy to manage. We aren't some massive company with a skyscraper. We just have this one spot where we gather to handle our daily business. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and papers, but we know where everything is. We don't have a professional writer to make us sound important. We’re just regular people who live and work around here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through spreadsheets. We don't do much in the way of advertising because we’re too busy actually doing the work. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to some other parts of Delhi, which helps us stay focused. We have a small table for lunch and we usually just share whatever we brought from home. It’s an honest, simple setup. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We just show up in the morning, do what’s required, and try to keep things running smoothly. If you walked in, you’d just see us at our desks, probably drinking tea and talking about what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. It’s just life at our little office in Vikash Puri, nothing fancy.
