Yadav Gifts

Yadav Gifts is located at 8727/14-B in the Shidipura area of Karol Bagh. If you’ve ever been to Karol Bagh, you know it’s a place where there’s a shop for everything and the streets are always packed. Shidipura is no different. Our workspace is pretty small, and we have to be very careful about how we stack things so we don't run out of room. There are gifts and packaging materials piled high on the shelves and even under the desks. It smells mostly of cardboard and the plastic tape we use for sealing boxes. The front door sticks a bit in the humidity, so you have to give it a good shove to get in. We don’t have any fancy displays or a showroom. It’s more of a warehouse and office combined into one. The noise from the street is constant—horns, vendors, and the general hum of thousands of people nearby. We usually have a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the chaos. Our desks are old and the chairs squeak every time you move, but they get the job done. We spend a lot of our time double-checking addresses and making sure the right items go into the right boxes. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find a rhythm in it. The tea man comes around in the afternoon, which is the highlight of the day for most of us. It’s a practical, hardworking little spot in a very busy neighborhood.
